Time effective, transparent and easy to use was the brief for using the “Live Tally” software at the recent chapter elections for the Sisters of St. Joseph Church (NSW).
KP1 met all the requirements at the recent chapter elections where 13 candidates were elected to the chapter board. The process that usually takes the majority of the day with a paper based ballot took the 180 sisters only a number of hours to elect their chapter. Due to their constitution, only one person can be elected at a time so using the KP1 hardware and “Live Tally” program met their requirements.
The average age of the sisters, ranging from their 60’s – 90’s was not a barrier and the keypads were easier to use than a TV remote and the software has enough flexibility to have pre-programmed elections or motions setup, or the ability to create these on the fly.
KP1 thanks the SOSJ for having the courage to take on new technologies and congratulates all members of the chapter.
