Meeting the objective’s to run both a Presidential and 10 member Committee board in less than 15 minutes would normally be a hard task. But when a new software program “Live Tally” is used this task becomes a breeze. Instead of a show of hands or paper ballot, kp1 keypads were used and both elections ran to plan, in the given time frame and very smoothly.
The University Of Sydney Alumni Department contacted kp1 to discuss an electronic solution for their inaugural AGM and once an online demonstration showing how the election process would take place it was agreed that the “Live Tally” program operated by kp1 supported their event.
As well as elections “Live Tally” can also be used for resolutions and motions, and can quickly calculate the number of YES/NO or ABSTAINED votes.
Reports for elections and motions are given to the client post the event with detailed notes time stamped into the reports.
